Deskripsi Pekerjaan

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Barista / Coffee Roaster to join our team in Yogyakarta. This role requires a unique blend of technical roasting expertise and exceptional brewing skills. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our coffee from the raw bean to the final cup, maintaining high standards of production, and delivering an outstanding coffee experience to our customers.

Key Responsibilities :
1. Coffee Roasting & Quality Control

Operate roasting machinery to produce high-quality coffee beans based on established profiles.
Conduct regular cupping sessions to evaluate roast quality, flavor profiles, and consistency.
Monitor inventory of green beans and roasted stock to ensure freshness and availability.
Maintain and calibrate roasting equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

2. Brewing & Bar Operations

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages (espresso and manual brews) with precision and speed.
Maintain a deep understanding of our current coffee offerings to provide recommendations to customers.
Ensure the bar area, equipment, and seating areas are kept clean, organized, and hygienic at all times.

3. Product Knowledge & Education

Act as an ambassador for Indonesian coffee origins, sharing stories and technical details with customers.
Continuously refine brewing techniques and stay updated on industry trends.

4. Administrative & Professionalism

Maintain high levels of discipline and attention to detail in every task, from weighing beans to cleaning the workspace.
Collaborate with the team to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Syarat Pekerjaan

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the coffee industry.
Technical Skills: Deep understanding and knowledge of the coffee roasting and cupping processes.
Product Knowledge: Well-versed and familiar with various Indonesian coffee origins.
Personal Attributes: Disciplined, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong passion for the coffee industry.
Location: Willing to be stationed/based in Yogyakarta.
